Why Didn’t I Get a Video from My Child’s Aqua One Session?

If you received a Nudity Prevention alert but didn’t get a video link—or only saw a screenshot in your Parent Dashboard—here’s why.

Updated over a week ago

What You’ll Always See

When potential nudity is detected through the Aqua One’s front or back camera, the device immediately locks down. A photo screenshot is always captured and sent to your Parent Dashboard when network conditions permit. The device needs to have a stable network connection for it to upload data on the dashboard.

Why a Video Might Be Missing

While the photo is always available, a full video may not be uploaded if the Aqua One has a poor or unstable internet connection during the session. In these cases:

  • The video cannot be captured or securely uploaded

  • You may not see a video in the Parent Dashboard

  • You will still get the alert link when it gets uploaded to the dashboard even if a video is unavailable.

Is This a System Error?

No, our system prioritizes privacy and security. If the connection isn’t strong enough to ensure a safe upload, it will only send the screenshot to your dashboard.

What You Can Do...

  • Ensure the Aqua One stays connected to a stable Wi-Fi or Mobile network (LTE/5G) network.

  • Visit your Parent Dashboard to ensure there are no new alerts, even if you don’t receive a video link via message. While this is rare, we still recommend you keep yourself up to date.

  • Contact support if you have concerns about repeated upload issues.
