Updated over 2 weeks ago

Getting Started with Aqua One and your Parent Dashboard

How Do I Set Up My Aqua One?

To set up your Aqua One account, just follow our video guide here. It shows you step-by-step instructions on how to get your phone ready for your child. As a parent, you’ll be connected fast and feel good knowing your child is using a safe smartphone. After setup, you will be able to see your child’s online activity such as their text messages, Youtube reels, and every app download including deleted ones.

How do I set up multiple devices under one account?

If you want to connect more than one Cyber Dive device to your Parent Dashboard, it’s easy! Go to Settings in your Parent Dashboard app and tap 'Connect New Device.' Then follow the steps shown on the screen. When asked, enter the 5-digit code displayed on your child’s screen. That’s it! Now you can control and monitor all your children’s phones from one parent account.

What Should I Do If My Child Forgets Their Password?

If your child forgets their password, go to your Parent Dashboard and contact Customer Care. One of our live agents will guide you through the next steps, including instructions on how to send the phone back to us to be manually reset. You will be responsible for the return shipping cost, but the reset process itself is quick and secure.

Once we receive the device, our team will reset it and return it to you so your child can get back online safely. An important note is to make sure your child’s Aqua One is always backed up to the cloud. This helps prevent any loss of photos, contacts, or other important data during the reset process.

How Aqua One Monitors and Keeps Kids Safe

How Does the Nudity Prevention Feature Work?

Our Nudity Prevention feature locks your child’s Aqua One if it detects nudity through the front or back camera. This works in real time, in any app. Your child can still make calls, but the rest of the phone stays locked. You will receive a text message about this alert right away. To unlock the phone, you can either use the Parent Dashboard or have your child call you from the lock screen to ask for the code that was sent. You can also choose to wait to unlock the phone when it feels right, you are completely in control!

What Apps Are Compatible with Aqua One?

What Apps Are Available and Compatible with Aqua One?

The Aqua One smartphone gives your child access to all apps in the Google Play Store. From your Parent Dashboard, you can monitor over 17,000 apps. Many other safety phones only let you monitor a few apps or show you a report of the usage. With Aqua One, you are also able to see your child’s favorite apps by seeing how much time they spend on each one.

You see everything and help guide your child’s app use and navigate social media platforms. This means you can have more meaningful conversations about what they enjoy doing online, spot any red flags early, and set boundaries that grow with your child. Whether they’re exploring new games, chatting with friends, or trying out a new trend, you’ll have the insights you need to support them every step of the way.

Can Aqua One Track Activity if My Child Uses a VPN App?

Yes. Aqua One still tracks their activity. Even if your child downloads a VPN app, it will not disable our operating system. You will still be able to monitor what apps your child uses and how they use the internet.

That means safer online choices and fewer surprises. Our system is built into the device itself, so it works no matter what apps your child installs, including ones meant to hide activity like VPNs or private browsers. You will continue to see detailed insights in your Parent Dashboard, helping you stay informed and guide your child toward smart digital habits.

All About Aqua One’s Security, Privacy, and Bypassing Controls

Is My Child’s Data Secure?

Your child’s well being and data is completely safe with Cyber Dive. We never share it with anyone, and only you can access it. Our cloud servers are isolated from public access, and data is stored in tiny, non-attributable pieces across secure locations. It’s like shredded confetti that our system reassembles only when you access the Parent Dashboard, keeping everything private and protected.

Can My Child Access My Parent Dashboard from Their Aqua One?

No. Your child cannot see or use the Parent Dashboard. Only the person who set up your account or someone with shared access can view it. For your child, it works like a normal smartphone—except when the nudity detection tool locks it.

This protects your child without our monitoring software getting in the way of their everyday experience. They can still text, call, take photos, and use safe apps like any other phone. All the monitoring happens in the background, so your child doesn’t feel watched or limited. This helps them build healthy habits while giving you the peace of mind that they’re safe online and offline.

Can My Child Bypass or Uninstall the Aqua One Operating System?

No. Your child can’t remove our system from their phone. All monitoring and safety tools stay active to protect your child no matter what and to ensure your monitoring goes uninterrupted. Even if they try to delete or disable the system, it will continue running in the background, keeping all safety features in place. This helps you stay informed and confident that your child is protected at all times, without gaps in coverage or interruptions to the tools we’ve put in place.

Does Aqua One Need Wi-Fi or Internet to Update the Parent Dashboard?

Yes. Your child’s Aqua One smartphone needs a strong internet connection to send updates to your Parent Dashboard. If the phone’s signal is weak, updates may be slower or won’t be able to come through—just like a regular phone doesn’t have a signal. This includes things like real-time activity, app usage, and location tracking. As soon as the phone reconnects to a stronger network, all missed updates will sync and appear in your dashboard automatically.

How to Backup, Restore, and Recover Account in Aqua One

How to Back Up the Phone?

To back up your Aqua One, go to the Settings app. Tap System > Backup > Turn on “Back up to Google Drive.” Choose the Google account you’d like to to save your data to. It will back up app info, photos, videos, and more. To back up right away, tap “Back up now.” To restore, sign into Google on a new or reset device and choose to restore from your backup.

Introducing Aqua One to Your Child

How Do I Talk to My Child About Using Aqua One?

Explain to your child that Aqua One is made with family communication in mind. Show them the fun features of a Google Pixel 9 and talk about why it’s important to use it safely. Set rules together, like how long to use their screen time and be aware of which apps are okay. You can even create a plan for when and where the phone can be used, and expectations for social media activity.

Make sure your child knows they can always come to you in the future about anything online. Let them know you’re not there to get them in trouble but to help them make good choices and their online safety. This builds trust and makes the phone a helpful tool, not a secret one. When young people feel supported instead of monitored, they’re more likely to use their device in healthy, open ways.

What Makes Aqua One Different from Other Kids’ Smartphones?

Our phone gives you more power than other phones. The Parent Dashboard shows real-time activity, lets you set screen time rules with third party apps, and helps your family stay safe online. It’s built into a Google Pixel 9, staying modern for kids to enjoy using. The Nudity Prevention feature adds a strong safety net for your child. If nudity is seen on the front or back camera on any app, the phone locks, and you get alerts. Cyber Dive helps keep your child safe on apps like Snapchat and Tiktok while still giving them the fun and freedom of a smartphone no matter their age.
