Aqua One's core focus is on full transparency β giving parents complete visibility into what their child is doing online β rather than restrictions. As a result, the Aqua One does not have built-in screen time limits.
Why no built-in screen time limits?
Aqua One's philosophy is that informed parents make better decisions than blanket restrictions. By showing you exactly what your child is doing, when, and for how long, you have the information you need to have meaningful conversations and set appropriate boundaries β without resorting to blunt tools like complete app blocks or time cutoffs that many children find ways around anyway.
Can I still set screen time limits?
Yes β you can use Google Family Link alongside Aqua One to set screen time limits, app usage caps, bedtime schedules, and content filters. Google Family Link is free, easy to set up, and works seamlessly with the Aqua One.
How to set up Google Family Link
Download the Google Family Link app on your phone (available on iOS and Android).
Follow the setup instructions to link your Google account to your child's Google account on the Aqua One.
From the Family Link app, go to Controls to set daily screen time limits, app restrictions, and scheduled downtime.
