Keeping your child's Aqua One up to date is quick and simple. Follow the steps below to download and install the latest system update.
Before you start, make sure:
Your child's Aqua One is connected to a strong, secure Wi-Fi network
The device has at least 10–15 GB of free storage
The battery is charged (or keep it plugged in during the update)
How to update the Aqua One:
Open Settings on the Aqua One.
Tap System.
Tap System Updates.
Tap the refresh button in the top right corner to check for any available updates.
If an update is available, tap "Download and Install" or "Install Now."
The device may restart during installation — this is completely normal.
Once the update is complete, a confirmation screen will appear. You'll also receive a notification on the device confirming the update was successful.
How to verify the update worked:
After the restart, go back to Settings > System > System Updates and tap the refresh button. If the screen shows "Up to date," the installation was successful.
What if the update fails?
If the update doesn't go through, check the following:
Is the Wi-Fi connection strong and stable?
Is there enough free storage space on the device?
Has the device restarted recently?
