Yes β the Aqua One works while traveling internationally, with connectivity depending on how your child's device is set up.
Wi-Fi abroad:
The Aqua One connects to Wi-Fi networks just like any other smartphone, so anywhere there's a Wi-Fi connection β hotels, airports, restaurants, or your accommodation β your child can use the phone normally, and monitoring will sync to your Parent Dashboard in real time.
Cellular data abroad:
For cellular connectivity outside the US, your options depend on your carrier:
International plan: Most major US carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile) offer international data and calling add-ons. Contact your carrier before traveling to add international coverage to your plan.
Local SIM card: If you'll be abroad for an extended period, purchasing a local SIM card at your destination is often more cost-effective. The Aqua One supports standard SIM and eSIM, making this easy to set up.
Google Fi: If you're on Google Fi, international data is typically included at no extra charge in many countries.
Will monitoring continue abroad?
Yes β as long as the Aqua One has an internet connection (either Wi-Fi or cellular data), all monitoring will continue working exactly as it does at home, with activity syncing to your Parent Dashboard in real time.
